Big Steet Art in LA
French Street Artist JR uses wheat-paste in LA to post up twenty or so new works. These gaint building-size images come from his series "Wrinkles in the City".
JR's street art showcases average citizens portaits in a larger then life scale - usually the type reserved for the famous & powerful. The murals play with the common idea of billboards and other massive media used to sell. These gaint wheat-paste images remind one of celebrity and mass-marketing which LA takes center role in.
