the do over

Sunday at the Do

The Do-Over

Every Monday I come in to work with a slight hangover. My head hurts and for the first three hours of work I’m noting but a zombie. To relieve myself of the misery I usually grab a greasy burrito and a nice bottle of Gatorade. It takes a while for me to find my groove but I eventually do… around 4 o’clock. (A little late I know.)

La Cita bar in LA

Good Ole’ Sweaty Fun

La Cita bar, a fun, good and sweaty time for all!

I’m a pretty simple girl. Don’t’ get me wrong, I love getting dolled up as much as the next gal but many times I prefer to be in my favorite jeans rather than a party dress.  I just hate the idea of having to make sure that I still look good at the end of the night when the lights come up. Also, I can’t dance in heels. I just fall and everything turns into a bad comedy.

The Spare Room: LA Historical Drinking

The Spare Room is a swanky throwback bar that includes a game room and two bowling lanes. Designed by the Los Angeles-based Studio Collective, The Spare Room combines vintage style and that famous smokey Hollywood vibe. Take a look at the shots below, grab a gin and take the night off.

angel city brewery

Drink Up at Angel City Brewery

Beer and art, what a fabulous combination!

Who doesn’t love beer and art? I’m a huge fan of small microbreweries. Not to sound like a beer snob, but I prefer the unique taste of a micro-brew than the taste of a Miller or Corona on a warm LA day. I also have a love and appreciation for art. So you could probably guess my excitement when I found out about a place that showcases great art and serves amazing beer for five dollars a pint.
