Alison Mosshart is my inspiration for Vintage Rock Fashion. The idea for this blog came about when I saw The Kills featured in a Zadig and Voltaire campaign Here’s the glossy I saw:
I don’t geek out when it comes to bands and music, as I’m practically surrounded by music 24-7. However I do have a slight obsession with The Kills (and, what I call, vintage rock). After numerous attempts to see them (see the image of my all access pass to Emo’s where they played during SXSW) and failing miserably, I was finally able to see them perform live in Columbus earlier this month. I was a tad skeptical because their show was exactly the day after Lollapalooza, but they killed it—Yes, the pun was intended!
